700 pages of line edits for ‘Cold Currents’ have moved from the right of my computer, to the left. Now, I’ll put them back on the right and start all over again with the structural/plot analysis from my editor’s notes. What do I do when I need a break? I edit my first manuscript, ‘Rockapocalypse’ with the notes from my local editor. See? That book you bought last week didn’t just *poof* onto the bookstore shelf! 🙂 And when I’m done with all this, that’s just about 50% of the process to get them into print. And I’m not even including the 20 months it took to write the first draft of both books.
